Huh. I knew I shouldn’t have listened to Mom when she said, “Oh, you don’t need to write at Barnes & Noble!” Yes, actually I do need to go to BN once a week for my writing session. Otherwise I spend the writing time like I did today–on LJ, email, playing that damned Snood, etc. On the bright side, I played two of my best games ever. Made it to Evil Level 5. And I got the entire Chronicles of Narnia radio theatre ripped to MP3, plus Return of the King and the last half of OotP.
But I only wrote 600 words (but it was 600 words exactly!). I need to write about 5500 words a day for the rest of the month if I want to make my 100k goal. I am thinking of revising it to be 75k, but still–that would still be a lot!
*sigh* I am falling asleep. I think tomorrow after class I will disconnect my laptop from the internet, sit on my bed, and write. And crank up the heat, because I can. And drink hot chocolate, because Dad (despite being off work all week) is going to phone in a will call order for a case of hot chocolate for me. Yay! Between my electric kettle (which I have named Charlie in honour of slightlyjillian’s kettle Percy) and a case of hot chocolate, I am going to be one happy camper.
So I promise a real update tomorrow, once I finish the scene.
